Christiane Stallaert

Christiane Stallaert (1959) is an anthropologist and professor of Hispanic and Latin American Studies and Intercultural Communication at the University of Antwerp (Belgium). Her main fields of research are Anthropology and Cultural Translation, Ethnicity and Nationalism, Migration and Religious Conversion. She is the author of: Ni una gota de sangre impura. La España inquisitorial y la Alemania nazi cara a cara (2006), Perpetuum Mobile. Entre la balcanización y la aldea global (2004), Etnogénesis y etnicidad en España. Una aproximación histórico-antropológica al casticismo (1998).
